Dr. Eliza Berkley

Dr. Eliza Berkley is a native of Norfolk who cares deeply about the area and its citizens. She is a board-certified specialist in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Dr. Berkley completed her residency training at the University of Illinois in Chicago and she completed fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Following fellowship training she joined the academic faculty at Eastern Virginia Medical School where, in addition to teaching and research activities, she was director of Ultrasound. Her areas of focus include ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, preterm labor, preeclampsia, and preconception care. She left EVMS in 2021 to start Longleaf Wellness & MFM Center.

Dr. Berkley’s desire is to place a special focus on the patient’s pregnancy journey with attention to in depth ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis and high-risk pregnancy management without losing sight of patient wellness. She is committed to understanding her patient’s desires and working closely with them to achieve their goals. She is focused on developing the personal interactions and sense of intimacy with patients that many physicians cherish.
